Elena LaQuatra, a young deaf woman, is Miss Pennsylvania.
She will be competing in the Miss USA pageant on
June 5th in Las Vegas. If she wins, she will represent
USA at the Miss Universe pageant. Trump? He owns
the Miss Universe pageant! Impossible for deaf woman
to win a Pageant? It is possible - look at Heather
Whitestone (Miss America, which is separate from

People that enter fast food restaurants hate
these long lines. Hungry people are often
impatient. The line at the Denton Whataburger
(in Texas) is long, same as others - but
there is a reason. The cashier, taking
these orders, is Taylor Pope. He is deaf and
relies on lipreading to take customers' orders!
Hard to believe but the customers, instead of
getting angry, have been very patient! The
restaurant manager is aware of it, but has
been very supportive of the deaf cashier. Hope
this patience will continue for a long time.
