DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, May 19, 2015 morning   -- an interesting interpreter project In Japan, a group of interpreters worked on a project, named "Let the Hands Tell." When the Atomic Bomb fell on Nagasaki in 1945, there were some deaf people that survived the bombing. Two deaf survivors, still living, were interviewed by these interpreters. These Deaf Tales from these survivors hae been published and distributed to local schools.   -- Netflix negotiating with a foreign company Netflix had to be forced into captioning their videos - under pain of these ADA lawsuits. It was just learned that Netflix is negotiating with several media companies in China on possibility of streaming in the Chinese media. Big question - will the Chinese streaming be captioned for the benefit of Chinese deaf?
