that deaf people have short life spans, that
they will depart us at younger ages than the
hearing. But those with alert eyes will notice
the date of the posting - October 26, 2015!

In South Africa, there was a short newspaper
commentary about the public treating the blind
differently from treating the deaf. The public
treats the blind with kindness. But the public
treats the deaf with utter scorn. This is why
the deaf have to overcome it in order to move
on in life.
