PHARMACIST AND THE DEAF A pharmacist has two jobs - one is to make medicine and also to explain to patient what to do with the medicine. A hearing person, visiting a small town, was confused about the medicine she got from her home town pharmacy. She went to the small town pharmacy and asked the pharmacist to explain it to her. A deaf person may struggle if he went to a small town pharmacy, if the pharmacist has never met a deaf person in his life!
