-- International Deaf Company
A group of fake-deaf people have been fooling
small town people that they work for the
International Deaf Company. They enter shops
and stores and steal stuff. The merchants
were fooled because they couldn't tell the
difference between real deaf people and
fake-deaf people. The police is looking
these thieves.
-- a deaf restaurant improves its services
Cafe Signes is a amall cafe in Paris; nearly all
of the employees are deaf; the few hearing
employees use sign language. This restaurant
just put in two new improvements. One is placing
different lights on each table. When hungry
patrons want to order more food, they wave these
special lights to get attention of the deaf waiters.
The other improvement is giving each waiter a
vibrating buzzer. This tells them that food
from the kitchen is ready to be served.
