-- an important rule in presidential debates
There is an important rule that was asked of
presidential candidates during a TV debate.
This rule is - only one candidate can talk
at the same time; no other candidates can
interrupt. Is it telling Donald Trump to
shut up and wait for his turn? No, it is
in the Philippines. The reason is that
the interpreter cannot interpret two
(or three) people at the same time!
The position of the interpreter on TV
looks neat, see it at:

-- a deaf vodka ad
A deaf vodka ad? In Great Britain, Smirnoff,
of the world's better known vodka brands,
is running a series of TV commercials.
One such commercial will feature Chris
Fonseca, who is a deaf dance teacher
in London. His face will be seen on TV
and on outdoor video ads.
-- deaf person beat up even if he told cop of deafness
A police officer beat up a deaf driver after
a traffic accident. The cop said the deaf driver
was not following orders. The deaf driver tried
to indicate his deafness, even showing a deaf
visor placard and even his driver's license ID
indicating his deafness. He was still beaten up
anyway. Deaf driver not following orders?
How could he follow orders that he could not
understand and was never provided with an
intepreter. This ugly incident took place in
Oklahoma - and it is scary for all deaf drivers
everywhere!
