-- deaf-hate crime in California
Doug Vigil, who is deaf, is one of the candidates for
the seat on Stockton Unified Board of Education.
Apparently there are people in Stockton that hate
the deaf because they sprayed anti-deaf comments
on the sidewalk in front of his house. The police
is investigating.
-- perfect deaf speech not worth it
A deaf man has speech that is so perfect
that all hearing people understand him.
Is it worth it to have perfet speech?
A deaf man in Great Britain was not able
to get disability income. The social
service agency felt this man was faking
his deafness because of his perfect
speech!
