The NBC TV show "Reasonable Doubts" featured Marlee Matlin as the prosecutor. It was the first time a deaf person was cast in a lead role in any TV program. She was on the program for two years. -- India and Pakistan continue to squabble over a deaf woman It was thought that Geeta, a young deaf girl, now a woman, was finally able to return home to India after straying across the India-Pakistan border. But this case is getting more murky each day. Every other day there is a different story as to what is really going on. The latest is that Pakistan turned down Indian attorney's reequest to win custody of her - but that both nations are "ccoperating" to resolve this case.
