The DSA is strong and thriving. It rebounded in Baltimore
in 2013 two years after the cancelled convention in
Chicago. Now, at Asheville, NC newspapers are saying over
1,200 deaf seniors are in attendance.

Portsmouth, NH police ran a log one day. It said that
a hearing woman was yelling for help in getting herself
out of bed. She was yelling because her husband was deaf!
