-- good news for deaf TV viewers
It was just announced that "Switched at Birth" is coming
back again for its 5th season. The new series starts
on August 24th. This is good news because deaf viewers
wanted to know what will be happening because of so
much drama during the last show of the 4th season!
-- a thin Deaf Smith
Many of us know that Deaf Smith, who was deaf, fought
in the Texas Revolution against Mexico and is considered
a hero. A county - Deaf Smith county - is named after
him. Was he skinny or strong? Don't know but for the
TV series - Texas Rising, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan,
who is not deaf, had to lose 40 pounds so he could
look like Deaf Smith! Does Morgan's role look so
fake? Yes.
