-- difficult for the deaf to become a barber
Could a deaf person become a barber? Of course,
Deaf Scissors is the same as Hearing Scissors.
What makes it difficult is lack of training
courses in barbering! Take Japan as an example,
years ago many deaf schools offered barbering
courses. Times have changed and only just two
deaf schools right now offer these barbering
courses!
-- dangers of lead
Overexposure to lead can lead to hearing losses.
This is a tragedy. People just didn't realize
how dangerous is lead. But - surprise - lead
problems existed In Europe between 5th and
15th centuries! Anthropologists are beginning
to discover that wealthy Europeans had indoor
water piping in their homes. These pipes carried
lead - which also led to deafness as well as
with other health problems!
