DeafDigest Mid-Week edition - January 29, 2019   -- thinking English or thinking ASL A posting in on a science web site asked this question: What language do deaf people think in? These responses are pretty much correct.   -- lawsuit filed against Consumer Reports Consumer Reports enjoys a great repuation for being neutral when evaluating different products. It, however, did not prevent lawsuit being filed - for not providing captions on its videos!   -- yet another deaf-hearing airport squabble Two deaf people got into a squabble with the Delta people at the airport in Detroit. This is not the first time Delta found itself in trouble. Not sure how it happened? Lack of communications or something else? Always two versions of an incident, with fingers pointing at each other. One thing is for sure - an angry agent dealing with an angry passenger may possibly lead to something ugly!     Deaf jobs – latest update http://deafdigest.com/category/jobs/ 01/27/19 Blue and Gold editions & sub options at: http://deafdigest.com/newsletters/
