In an interview, actress Camryn Manheim said when she
heard about the Deaf West Theatre production of "Spring
Awakening" she immediately signed up. Why? She was
an interpreter in the past and it was an opportunity
for her to reconnect with the Deaf Community. What
she didn't mention in the interview was that she's
been close friends with Marlee Matlin.
