DeafDigest Mid-Week edition - November 2, 2018   -- non-signing deaf trying to communicate with driverless shuttle bus At the 3rd International Driverless Vehicle Summit, one of the vehicles demonstrated has a touch screen that allows sign language communication with deaf passengers. The big concern is that many deaf people do not use sign langauge. Would that sign language vehicle be useless to them?   -- real anger not fake anger "Hulk" Lou Ferrigno, who is deaf, did not speak while acting his Hulk Role. He would grunt and roar but not speaking. It showed a lot of anger. Was it real anger or a fake anger? Lou said it was real anger. Is that a surprise?   -- buzzing pagers no longer used by some facilities Some facilities have stopped using buzzing pagers when there are long waiting lines. Reason is that many buzzing pagers are broken. Another reason is that people forget to return their buzzers when they are called in.
